Annabel and Radhika, former UCL classmates, launched their careers in technology and financial services before turning their focus to scalp health. Radhika founded EcoTextura, a sustainable fabric supplier for the NHS, while Annabel served as a Google HQ ambassador for Code First Girls, advocating for women in tech​

 

Both battled personal hair struggles, Annabel with eczema and fine hair, Radhika with hair loss from trichotillomania, which led them to realise that true hair health starts at the scalp. Often overlooked, the scalp plays a crucial role in maintaining hair strength, growth, and overall wellness. They recognised a lack of compassion in the hair care industry, where topics like hair loss and thinning are often considered taboo and the focus remains overly aesthetic

The duo combined Radhika’s Ayurvedic heritage with Annabel’s research in China and Korea, where she studied trichology and advanced scalp care practices, to curate a line of nourishing scalp products. Their mission: to elevate scalp care into a daily ritual and foster a more compassionate dialogue around hair and wellness
