A Word From Annabel, H Salon Founder
H Salon began with a question: what does self care look like when you live an active life?
Sport has always been a huge part of mine. From gymnastics and athletics to Kung Fu, running and swimming, movement has always been how I feel my best. As I became more interested in recovery, I started looking beyond training itself, towards the rituals, routines and products that help us reset afterwards.
That’s where H Salon began.
I’ve always had fine hair and sensitive, eczema prone skin, so I knew how difficult it could be to find products that were both gentle and effective. Rather than trying to change my hair, I wanted to understand how to care for it properly. I began researching the science behind scalp health and became fascinated by how much the scalp influences the health and condition of our hair.
My mother and I started developing formulas, testing and refining them until we created our first product, Scalp Silk, a pH balancing scalp mist designed to support a healthy scalp as part of an everyday wellness routine.
As H Salon evolved, so did the needs we wanted to solve. After intense, sweaty Kung Fu sparring sessions, I wanted a way to refresh my hair and scalp without washing and restyling it every time. That became Gym Silk. Our Sauna Hat came from the same idea. If heat and cold are becoming part of modern recovery, how can we care for our hair and scalp alongside them?
Each product has started this way, from a real ritual, a real problem and a desire to find a better solution.
But H Salon is about more than products.
We believe wellness should be about feeling healthy, strong and well, rather than chasing how we think we should look. And we believe self care doesn't have to be something solitary. Some of the most meaningful rituals happen together, after training, in the sauna, or simply sharing time with people who make you feel good.
That is the world we want to create with H Salon: modern care for active lives, and a community that makes looking after yourself something to experience together.
